This project was a culmination of all the things that I had learned through my experience making films and video through college. Coming from architecture, I found my approach to filmmaking was much more structural than most other colleagues of mine, and I used this structural method of filmmaking in the preproduction process, planning shots, angles, framing, lenses, and pretty much any technical consideration.
The really fun part about this film was when I got to a point where all my planning had been set, and the crew knew everything that had to get done. Then, I got a chance to play with the actors, focusing all my attention on them and letting everything else fall into place. To date it is one of my favorite projects that I have ever done and, like a happy father, I am truly proud of this work.
