Working closely with Doug Liman's Independent Media, 30 Ninjas, and Jaunt VR, I served as Asst. Camera operator on the pickup shoots for Invisible — Doug Liman's first venture into the 360/VR world. It was a first for me too — the first time I got a chance to work closely with the Jaunt One VR camera, which, at the time, was the highest of high end. Needless to say, I was excited to jump at the opportunity.
Shooting went well, and so I was asked if I would like to help log and link their media for the editors. I had been an Assistant Editor before, so it was another great chance to show my skills. This was the first VR series made and distributed on headsets worldwide, and it was a great success.
